Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data rush4.gg ("we") collects when you use rush4.gg, why we collect it, and how you can control it. rush4.gg brings together live streaming rankings (Twitch and Kick), the League of Legends ranked ladder and browser mini-games: most of what we show is public platform activity (viewers, categories, channel names), not personal data about viewers.

rush4.gg is operated by an individual, with no company currently incorporated. For any privacy question, contact us at privacy@rush4.gg.
Data we collect when you sign in
If you sign in with Google, Twitch or Kick, we receive the basic profile fields those providers share by default: your email, display name and provider account id. We store this in our accounts database, hosted on cloud infrastructure, to recognise your account between visits. We never receive your password: authentication happens entirely with the provider you chose, not with us.
Data you create
If you add a channel, game, or competitor to your watchlist, we store that entry against your account so it can be shown back to you. We do not currently share your individual watchlist with anyone else.
Mini-game data
If you play "Who Am I?" or Arcane while signed in, we store your match progress and results, your cumulative statistics and the achievements you unlock, linked to your account, so we can build your in-game profile and history. If you play without signing in, that progress stays only in your browser.
Linked platform accounts
You can optionally link Twitch, Kick or Riot Games accounts to your Rush4 account. When you do, we store the identifiers each platform returns and the tokens needed to keep the link active. We use this only to associate you with your own channels or game profile, and you can ask us to remove it at any time at privacy@rush4.gg.
Public platform data
The core of Rush4 is public livestreaming activity we collect directly from platform APIs (Twitch, Kick, and Riot Games/League of Legends): stream titles, categories, concurrent viewer counts, and similar public metrics. This is not personal data about individual viewers; it describes public broadcasts, not the people watching them.
How we use your data
We use account and watchlist data to operate your signed-in experience, and (where you have opted in) to send you notifications (via our email provider, Resend) about things you asked to be told about. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Who we share data with
We rely on a small group of infrastructure providers to run Rush4: cloud services (hosting, database, file storage), a transactional email provider, Google Analytics for usage measurement, and the platforms you sign in with or link accounts from (Google, Twitch, Kick and Riot Games) for authentication. Each processes data only as far as needed to provide their service to us, under their own privacy terms.
Cookies, usage analytics and local storage
We use a session cookie (__session) to keep you signed in. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used; it writes its own cookies in your browser (_ga and similar) and, when you are signed in, we send it your internal account identifier and the provider you signed in with, so sessions from the same person can be told apart. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not resell this data. Separately, your browser stores preferences locally (localStorage) such as language, accessibility settings and mini-game progress; that stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Data retention and deletion
We keep account and watchlist data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, your data is removed immediately, with no additional retention period. To request access to or deletion of your data, email privacy@rush4.gg.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact privacy@rush4.gg to exercise any of these rights.
Children
Rush4 is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required by their local law to consent to data processing.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Rush4 after a change means you accept the updated policy.
